Honeysuckle and Privet


Highlight of May: the combination of privet and honeysuckle. Breathe deep, it doesn't last long.

It looks so pretty and smells divine but, sadly, privet is a no-go in Australia. You and Felix may find this interesting:

It is indeed lush and fragrant and I love it so even if I have to take my Claritin! Soon to follow will be the fuzzy pink mimosa blossoms like the tree outside the bedroom window of my childhood home. They smell good too!
